Caring In Bristol Fundraiser - 26th January 2020

For the third instalment of our Humble Warriors event we were inspired to bring teachers in that embodied what we feel is important within a yoga practice, and for us this is movement, mindfulness and meditation.

So kicking us off in the first half of the day we had Elena Byers begin to wake us up before movement artist Jude Whitburn cranked up the heat and got us moving with a sweet vinyasa practice.

Vanessa from Lunch Club not only designed us a bespoke menu for our event but gave every penny of her profits to our cause, delicious food and a heart of gold we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Accompanying our scheduled classes we had Lauren and Charlotte offer deep tissue, sports and remedial massages to soften achey muscles and relax.

Post lunch saw us shift gears and take a more meditative tone, Jez Kane took to the floor and shared with us his explorations in Conscious Connected Breathing and traditional hatha yoga movements.

Isabelle Beresford anchoring us with a final meditation bringing the day to a sweet and grounding close with her breath and mindfulness techniques.

Heaps of prizes from our sponsors Pukka Tea, Liform, Manduka, Raw Halo Vegan Chocolate, Watershed and Yogi Tea saw everyone leave with a prize from our mega raffle.

Thank you to all the volunteers, teachers and therapists involved and of course everyone that attended, all your efforts helped to raise £1931.78 for our amazing local charity Caring In Bristol.

See you next year!
